Installation Guide

System Requirements

• macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later
• Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel processor
• 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
• 500 MB free disk space
• Microphone (built-in or external)

Download & Install

1. Download FloWords

   • Visit flowords.app/download
   • Click “Download FloWords.dmg”

2. Install the App

   • Open the downloaded DMG file
   • Drag FloWords to your Applications folder
   • Eject the DMG

3. Launch FloWords

   • Open FloWords from Applications
   • Grant microphone permissions when prompted
   • Grant Accessibility permissions for text insertion

First Launch

On first launch, FloWords will:

1. Request microphone access (required)
2. Request Accessibility permissions (required for text insertion)
3. Download the default AI model (~140 MB)
4. Start your 30-day free trial

Permissions Setup

Microphone Access

FloWords needs microphone access to record your voice.

To grant permission:

1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Privacy & Security → Microphone
3. Enable FloWords

Accessibility Access

FloWords needs Accessibility permission to insert transcribed text into other apps.

To grant permission:

1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Privacy & Security → Accessibility
3. Enable FloWords
